{"id":139647,"date":"2026-02-15T10:59:27","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T10:59:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-production-engineer-6\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T10:59:27","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T10:59:27","slug":"were-hiring-production-engineer-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-production-engineer-6\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Production Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Position Title: Production Engineer<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Reports to: Production Manager<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Department: Production<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>JOB PURPOSE<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Manage the production and manufacturing of pipes and fittings in a safe and efficient manner so that production targets are achieved with minimum waste that meet quality standards and client specification<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Manufacturing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise the production process to ensure finished products meet quality standards \/ client specifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor the use of raw materials to minimize waste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise the use of machinery at all stations by production staff in line with established guidelines to maximize output and achieve efficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the use of LN to ensure all materials and hours are immediately logged in the system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure all orders are closed in LN when finished products are delivered to final stock<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Liaison &#038; Coordination:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with maintenance to ensure the maximum availability of machinery for production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with the store to ensure raw materials are available to meet the production schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the technical staff regarding any issues that delay the manufacturing and delivery schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with QC personnel to ensure final products are tested, labelled and released for final delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In conjunction with QC personnel identify defective products and recommend corrective actions or repairs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Policies and Procedures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comply with operational procedures and instructions when performing all job tasks and activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Employee Effectiveness:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote employee engagement &#038;
