{"id":139203,"date":"2026-02-14T12:16:55","date_gmt":"2026-02-14T12:16:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-waiter-waitress-2\/"},"modified":"2026-02-14T12:16:55","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T12:16:55","slug":"were-hiring-waiter-waitress-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-waiter-waitress-2\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Waiter \/ Waitress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>We are currently looking for dynamic, and self motivated Food &#038; Beverage professionals who want to move their careers forward.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a Waiter \/ Waitress you are responsible to provide professional service to our guests, ensuring their restaurant visit will become a memorable dining experience whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the hotel<\/li>\n<li>Greet and seat customers and serve them in a professional, discreet and personalized way<\/li>\n<li>Acquire in depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu of the assigned outlet in order to assist and provide advice to guests<\/li>\n<li>Consistently monitor quality of food &#038; beverage being served<\/li>\n<li>Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints \/ queries satisfactorily<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all service preparations before, during and after the service (mis-en-place and mis-en-scene)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage<\/li>\n<li>Actively use up selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Education, Qualifications &#038; Experiences<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You should ideally have a diploma \/ degree in hospitality or a vocational training in food &#038; beverage with previous experiences as a Waiter \/ Waitress in a high volume restaurant. A good command of English and additional skills, like guest service and interpersonal are essentials.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Knowledge &#038; Competencies<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The ideal candidate will be hands-on with a true passion for people and service along with a positive and pleasant attitude.
