The successful candidate must be able to capture our client\u2019s vision, business requirements as well as technical requirements and enable those utilizing Evertz hardware, software and professional services offerings. You will act as a focal point for Evertz clients and Evertz staff (account managers, R&#038;D engineers, project managers, and executive management) to completely architect, design and document system requirements and implementation approaches for end-to-end enterprise solutions. The successful candidate must be comfortable and effective in a client facing role.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the account management team identifying and engaging with prospective Playout, MAM and Media Distribution customers.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with identifying new customers while also growing and maintaining systems within existing customer base<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the account manager to define and document system scope<\/li>\n<li>Provide initial solutions to clients with Evertz equipment selection &#038; systems design, refine over the design process to provide final quotation and supporting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal resources and the client to provide client demonstrations and\/or documentation as proof of concept system, as required<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with internal, client and third party teams to understand current and future business and technical requirements<\/li>\n<li>Take lead on proposal creation and refinement, take ownership and produce accurate documentation for bid set.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and manage project risks, clearly state assumptions, and work with client and internal resources to mitigate risks in advance of deployment.<\/li>\n<li>Ultimately create a clear and well thought out design package, gap analysis, functional specifications, and budget<\/li>\n<li>Act as the technical authority throughout the design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training and sustaining engineering phases<\/li>\n<li>Travel as required to client sites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Qualifications: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in designing, documenting and sustaining full life cycle end-to-end enterprise-wide client facing projects.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, non-linear distribution, automated transcoding and quality control, business\/traffic systems type deployments and workflows i.e. the complete broadcast and media food chain.<\/li>\n<li>Electronics engineering (or similar) education<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving, and strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Results oriented, self-motivated, and team player<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with BXF and industry standard traffic solutions<\/li>\n<li>Must have 3 or more years experience deploying file based work flow solutions<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Broadcast IT with network infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Understanding in applications integration with business systems via the use of XML as the interchange format<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What we Offer:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive total compensation package<\/li>\n<li>Work-life balance<\/li>\n<li>Career progression<\/li>\n<li>Casual work environment<\/li>\n<li>Social events and sports teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> About Evertz:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Evertz Microsystems (TSX:ET) is a leading global manufacturer of broadcast equipment and solutions that deliver content to television sets, on-demand services, WebTV, IPTV, and mobile devices (like phones and tablets).
