Job Summary<\/b><\/span>The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible to oversee and manage the planning and scheduling activities for engineering projects within an organization. They play a critical role in facilitating communication among project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, and implementing adjustments to schedules as needed to meet project objectives.<\/span>Job Responsibilities 1<\/span>Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, incorporating all tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure project timelines are accurately represented.<\/span>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, establish priorities, and define project scope.<\/span>Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying deviations, delays, and potential risks, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.<\/span>Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on schedule performance, resource utilization, and potential impacts on project outcomes.<\/span>Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern, and recommend appropriate adjustments to schedules and resource allocation.<\/span>Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources needed for project execution.<\/span>Prepare and distribute reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing project schedules, progress, and performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders.<\/span>Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior planning engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in project scheduling and management.<\/span>Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management and scheduling to inform continuous improvement initiatives.<\/span>Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in all aspects of project scheduling and management.<\/span>Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies<\/span>Job Responsibilities 2<\/span>Additional Responsibilities 3<\/span>Job Knowledge & Skills<\/b><\/span>Knowledge in Engineering fundamentals<\/span>Knowledge in Principles of planning and knowledge in Principles and practices of research and date collection.<\/span>Familiarity with planning practices and the associated software such as Advance Primavera 6<\/span>Knowledge in Principles and practices of research and data collection<\/span>Familiar with local and international standards in construction<\/span>ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.<\/span>Job Experience<\/b><\/span>Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus<\/span>Competencies<\/b><\/span>Resilience<\/span>Quality<\/b><\/span>Leadership<\/b><\/span>Cash Flow Analysis L3<\/span>Project Resource Management L3<\/span>Project Tracking and Reporting L3<\/span>Revenue Forecasting L3<\/span>Agility<\/span>Primavera Project Planner L3<\/span>Education<\/b><\/span>Profesional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA)<\/span>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering<\/p>\n
