We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>In this role, you will:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>In this role, you will:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expertise in Android, Kotlin, Android Studio.<\/li>\n<li>Expert in analysis of requirements and able to provide technical inputs and estimation quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Good ability to guide team and improve the maturity of the team in technical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all processes and guideline for zero defects and follow guidelines for quality and delivery set in organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ability for innovations and improving the velocity of team.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to solve queries and issues quickly and correctly by unblocking the blockers.<\/li>\n<li>Able to give good support for production issues and CR deployments.<\/li>\n<li>Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders and external teams.<\/li>\n<li>Able to highlight risk and blockers in advance, with the impact on timelines and delivery.<\/li>\n<li>A go to person who can lead the team technically and as and when required in sprint and PI events.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new technology as needed by the project.<\/li>\n<li>Well versed with JIRA and keep track of its hygiene.<\/li>\n<li>Well versed with scrum and SAFe agile framework.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on coder<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Enterprise\/Solution Architects, Business Analyst to deliver high quality code.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the technical design\/code structure is technical coherent, future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid and proficient skills in Android, Kotlin, Android Studio<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Jetpack Compose<\/li>\n<li>Strong foundation in SOLID design principles and writing clean code.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Android standard library e.g. Jetpack components<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Architectural pattern e.g MVVP , MVPg.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Scrum and Agile<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins, Git)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in JUnit \/Espresso UI Testing.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of writing secure program.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, analytical, design and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Source code scanning and security (e.g. checkmarx)<\/li>\n<li>Experience on performance tuning is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Concurrency and Jetpack compose is plus.<\/li>\n<li>Python knowledge is plus.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> You&#8217;ll achieve more when you join HSBC.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
