{"id":1350,"date":"2024-11-07T06:58:56","date_gmt":"2024-11-07T06:58:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/2024\/11\/07\/biology-teacher\/"},"modified":"2024-11-07T06:58:56","modified_gmt":"2024-11-07T06:58:56","slug":"biology-teacher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/biology-teacher\/","title":{"rendered":"Biology Teacher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enables the success of student academic achievement through implementation of the SABIS\u00ae curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS\u00ae Point System\u2122 of instruction.<\/li>\n<li>Has an oversight role for all students within the school setting, to ensure a safe academic environment conducive to learning and maintain the professional SABIS\u00ae image.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures proper planning and follow up for the academic progress of all students and works cooperatively with the Student Life and Student Management teams.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures accurate and timely reporting to the Academic Quality Controller, as required by SABIS\u00ae and governmental bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Reports regularly to the Academic Quality Controller regarding students&#8217; performance and challenges, with recommendations for action and a summary of actions taken.<\/li>\n<li>Fulfills a requirement of 30 student contact hours per week.<\/li>\n<li>Primary assignment may be a specific grade level (including homeroom duties) or subject teaching to multiple classes in regular or intensive classes.<\/li>\n<li>May also be assigned additional non-instructional duties such as proctoring exams or supervising recess or lunch.<\/li>\n<li>Must attend required school functions as identified by administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum: Bachelor&#8217;s degree in subject area to be taught<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree preferred, may be required if necessary to comply with local regulations<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and team management skills<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Organizational and self-management skills; Ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively<\/li>\n<li>Goal orientation; Planning and execution skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Dependability; Readiness to go above and beyond when necessary to reach goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.ae\/jobad\/aeb1698102cd8e5622b7142356743908c3?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary Enables the success of student academic achievement through implementation of the SABIS\u00ae curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS\u00ae Point System\u2122 of instruction.
