You&#8217;ll be instrumental in building innovative features to create a better experience for our shoppers and help them be more effective when shopping for Instacart. You&#8217;ll work on exciting areas like checkout technology, payment integration, and OCR data extraction that will help provide the tools to empower our shoppers to be successful. The Transaction Platform team is responsible for developing a robust shopper checkout experience that guarantees smooth grocery payments, as well as the Point-of-Sale intelligence system which enables the detection, correction of order discrepancies, and provides intelligent order insights.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>About the Job<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with product and design teams to build innovative mobile experiences<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate cross-functionally to create project roadmaps for delightful and accessible user experiences<\/li>\n<li>Participate in cross-organizational efforts with other engineering teams<\/li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards<\/li>\n<li>Continuously refactor to improve our code base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>About You<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of experience in mobile development, or related experience<\/li>\n<li>Extensive Experience developing iOS applications<\/li>\n<li>Extensive Experience with iOS fundamentals, including Swift, Swift UI, UIKit, RxSwift or Combine etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Networking protocols (RPC, Rest API, Websockets)<\/li>\n<li>Solid communicator, comfortable seeking and receiving feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Robust analytical and debugging skills<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative mindset to be able to partner with engineers, designers, and PMs from multiple teams to co-create impactful solutions while supporting system contributions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience working on Apple technologies like Location, push notifications<\/li>\n<li>SQL knowledge to support databases, familiarity with (GRDB or FMDB) would be a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in profiling and performance optimization on mobile platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #LI-Remote<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.
