{"id":13067,"date":"2024-12-18T11:59:14","date_gmt":"2024-12-18T11:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/consultant-cost-management-optimization\/"},"modified":"2024-12-18T11:59:14","modified_gmt":"2024-12-18T11:59:14","slug":"consultant-cost-management-optimization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/consultant-cost-management-optimization\/","title":{"rendered":"Consultant \u2013 Cost Management &#038; Optimization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and support the implementation of cost-reduction strategies and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n<li>Assess and report financial estimates for cost-saving initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve cost efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Collect and analyze cost data, cost drivers, and financial performance indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Design and oversee the development of IT applications to offer insights on cost trends and identify areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that cost baseline and optimization efforts maintain a balance between efficiency and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Periodically review and refine cost baseline models and cost optimization processes.<\/li>\n<li>Drive the automation of cost baselines and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Support the hydrocarbon accounting process across the company\u2019s value chain, including data validation and reconciliation to ensure consistency and accuracy in production data.<\/li>\n<li>Coach and mentor internal resources to build capabilities in supporting and leading cost optimization initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 18 years of industry experience, including 13+ years in the Oil &#038; Gas (O&#038;G) sector in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive expertise in financial analytics, cost management, and cost optimization across the O&#038;G value chain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Proven experience in Oil &#038; Gas procurement and financial transformation initiatives<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors or advanced degrees in Finance, Engineering, or Business.<\/li>\n<li>Preferred professional certifications such as:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Certified Cost Professional (CCP)<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Certified Management Accountant (CMA)<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Kaizen or Six Sigma certifications <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A proven track record of successfully advising and supporting CXO-level executives in O&#038;G organizations on cost management and optimization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.kw\/jobad\/kw680210f6e1001aec80fd109cadfd3f2d?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities: Develop and support the implementation of cost-reduction strategies and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
