{"id":11549,"date":"2024-12-14T10:59:07","date_gmt":"2024-12-14T10:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/consultant-interventional-radiology\/"},"modified":"2024-12-14T10:59:07","modified_gmt":"2024-12-14T10:59:07","slug":"consultant-interventional-radiology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/consultant-interventional-radiology\/","title":{"rendered":"Consultant Interventional Radiology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Job Title Consultant Interventional Radiology<br \/>\n       Location Riyadh,SA<br \/>\n       Organization Name Radiology<br \/>\n       Department Description<br \/>\n       Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, as well as the provision of medical care in the field of Interventional Radiology, in accordance with the current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and the hospital\u2019s policies and procedures.<br \/><b>Brief Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Clinical Responsibilities <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides high-quality patient care in all aspects of Interventional Radiology according to his\/her approved clinical privileges.<\/li>\n<li>Provides consultation (inpatient, and emergency room) upon request and responds in a timely manner within the prescribed timeframe as outlined in KFSHRC policy.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the timely completion, competencies, accuracy, and eligibility of the medical record.<\/li>\n<li>Provides on-call service and ensures availability and response time within the prescribed timeframe in accordance with hospital policy.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge. Ensures that discharge orders are written 24 hours prior to discharge.<\/li>\n<li>Performs any other clinical responsibilities related to Interventional Radiology, as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Academic Responsibilities <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides orientation, bedside training and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the department\u2019s educational activities and training programs of the department. Partakes in national and international medical conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains and enhances professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Research Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participates in clinical, basic and translational research projects in accordance with Research Advisory Council Policy in order to advance knowledge, improve the quality of post graduate education and contribute to the national and international recognition of KFSHRC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How To Apply<\/b><br \/><b>Detailed Description<\/b><br \/>\n       Graduation from an accredited medical school, completion of required period of training in specialty and\/or subspecialty, with Arab or American Board certification, membership and\/or fellowship status in the United Kingdom and\/or Canada or their equivalent<br \/><b>Job Requirements<\/b><br \/>\n       Seven (7) Years of training in specialty or subspecialty plus postgraduate training experience must be equal to or exceed seven (7) years\u2019 experience in the subspecialty<br \/><b>Additional Details<\/b><br \/>\n       N\/A<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Administrative Responsibilities <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertakes the administrative duties assigned by Head of Section or Chairman.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in all mandatory departmental activities and serves on departmental and hospital committees and other administrative functions, as required.<\/li>\n<li>Assists the department in the development and implementation of techniques and practices that help maximize the utilization of all resources within the department and across the KFSHRC.<\/li>\n<li>Abides by the current hospital and medical staff bylaws, all relevant rules, regulations and policies and keeps updated of any changes that might occur.<\/li>\n<li>Follows all Hospital\u2019s related Policies and Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in self and others&#8217;
