This team is responsible for Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) and has been focused on Identity \u2013 end-user login and API security.<\/span>APIs delivered via a microservices architecture and secured with identity is the cloud-native future we\u2019re heading towards, using forward-thinking infrastructure like Kubernetes & Istio and Lambda\/Functions. Every product team depends on us and we\u2019re changing the way Thomson Reuters builds and operates software.<\/span>We’re seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our Customer Identity team within Platform Engineering. Our team is responsible for Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), focusing on identity-based user authentication and API security. We’re building the future of Thomson Reuters’ technology infrastructure using cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes, Istio, and serverless architectures.<\/span>As a Sr. Software Engineer, you must thrive in a technical leadership role and naturally be a collaborative & transparent team member and you’ll work primarily with:<\/span>AWS and Azure public cloud<\/span>Identity platforms (Auth0 and Ping) and identity standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML and SCIM)<\/span>Java and\/or .NET Core<\/span>About the Role<\/b><\/span>In this opportunity as a Sr. Software Engineer, you will:<\/span>Participate actively in Scrum teams, embracing agile methodologies<\/span>Collaborate with Software Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters<\/span>Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle: Ideation, Design, Build, Test and Operate<\/span>Champion test and deployment automation<\/span>Develop secure REST APIs using Java or .NET Core<\/span>Ensure alignment with cloud architectural principles<\/span>Contribute to architectural decisions and platform evolution<\/span>About You<\/b><\/span>You\u2019re a fit for the role of Sr. Software Engineer if you have the following required qualifications:<\/span>5+ years\u2019 experience developing REST APIs using Java or .Net Core, with an emphasis on identity management solutions using OAuth2, OIDC, SAML or SCIM<\/span>Experience developing cloud native applications and services on Azure, AWS or GCP<\/span>Bachelor’s degree in related technology program<\/span>Experience with a major Identity Provider such as ForgeRock, Ping, Okta, Auth0 either for workforce or customer identity and access management<\/span>Experience with automation and CI\/CD tools using CloudFormation, TerraForm or GitOps<\/span>#LI-ES1<\/span>What\u2019s in it For You?<\/span>Hybrid Work Model: We\u2019ve adopted a flexible hybrid working environment (2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role) for our office-based roles while delivering a seamless experience that is digitally and physically connected.<\/span>Flexibility & Work-Life Balance: Flex My Way is a set of supportive workplace policies designed to help manage personal and professional responsibilities, whether caring for family, giving back to the community, or finding time to refresh and reset.
