Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Your New Role&#8230;<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>The position is responsible for reconciling of Intercompany with WB Discovery Corp and other sister companies, GL maintenance and financial statement analysis of international concentrator companies, and special purpose companies, and international equity. In addition, this position will assist in company-wide foreign exchange analysis, hedge accounting, and special projects.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your Role Accountabilities&#8230;<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Foreign Exchange and Hedge Accounting: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in analyzing company-wide monthly and quarterly FX impact on P&#038;L and Other Comprehensive Income (OCI)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly US GAAP FX revaluation for the company<\/li>\n<li>Assist in completing quarterly FX hedge financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Analyze impact of Cumulative Translation Adjustment on a quarterly basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Non-eliminating Intercompany: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primary point of contact for Warner Media and other sister companies as it relates to day to day and period end activities<\/li>\n<li>Supervise staff in business process outsourcing (BPO) center and ensure tasks are performed accurately<\/li>\n<li>Review monthly reconciliations and quarterly supplemental schedules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> International Equity: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconcile and record monthly Restricted Stock and Stock Option transactions for international territories<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and assist Territory Finance and\/or HR Compensation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> International Concentrator Company Analysis: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate the International Calendar and all close instructions to all territories.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze WBEII Financials<\/li>\n<li>Ensure eliminating intercompany variances are cleared for month-end close<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the cash clearing is cleared every month<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Special Projects\/Other: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide training to internal and BPO on various topics<\/li>\n<li>Identify and recommend improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies in the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Ad Hoc projects for Senior Management.<\/li>\n<li>Help with interim and annual audit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications &#038; Experience&#8230;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Approximately 3+ years previous work experience in an accounting environment required.<\/li>\n<li>Public and\/or private accounting experience required<\/li>\n<li>Financial closing, consolidations, reporting and planning<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or advanced degree in Accounting required.<\/li>\n<li>CPA\/MBA preferred<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP)<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred<\/li>\n<li>PC Skills: Knowledge of MS Word and Excel or Access required<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a critical thinker who can provide solutions with minimal guidance<\/li>\n<li>Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone<\/li>\n<li>Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions<\/li>\n<li>Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively<\/li>\n<li>Must have the ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a fast paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> How We Get Things Done\u2026<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This last bit is probably the most important! Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery\u2019s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $63,001.00 &#8211; $117,002.00 salary per year.
