Join the #VTeamLife.<\/span>What you’ll be doing\u2026<\/b><\/span>We’re excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a passionate professional to join us in the Verizon Ireland Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability group. You will contribute efforts on operational support for the organization and clear application issues and working in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third party partners) to facilitate and deliver operational resolutions. You will also work with end-users to answer questions and help resolve first-level issues on application support matters as well as partnering with our Global Technology Services colleagues when additional assistance is needed to resolve application issues tied to functionality and\/or interfaces.<\/span>Understanding operational business challenges across Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability.<\/span>Identifying, owning and resolving application fallout errors and driving resolutions to gaps in application functionality.<\/span>Testing functionality on fixes, enhancements or new releases prior to end-user acceptance.<\/span>Creating documentation related to upcoming functionality releases.<\/span>Creating and delivering training to end users.<\/span>What we are looking for:<\/b><\/span>You’ll need to have:<\/b><\/span>A degree in Business Information Systems, Technology or a related discipline.<\/span>Even better if you have:<\/b><\/span>Related co-op or internship experience, with proven project and work experience.<\/span>Exposure, knowledge or proficiency in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP) or similar Enterprise Software systems.<\/span>Working knowledge or proficiency in SQL.<\/span>Experience in troubleshooting and analyzing issues.<\/span>Strong organisational skills.<\/span>Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications.<\/span>Experience in system testing.<\/span>Good team player, well organized and self-starter.<\/span>Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.<\/span>Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to multitask<\/span>Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.<\/span>Scheduled Weekly Hours 37.5<\/span>Equal Employment Opportunity<\/b><\/span>Verizon is an equal opportunity employer.
