Some of the projects you may work on could enhance your skills in one or more of the following areas:<\/span>5G Technology<\/span>AR\/VR and Computer Vision<\/span>Application development: SaaS development, scripting<\/span>Back-end: e.g. Express, Flask, Ruby<\/span>Development Tools & Languages: NET, C, C++, J2EE, Python, Java<\/span>Enterprise development: logging and monitoring, rules engine<\/span>Front-end: React.js, Ember, Vue<\/span>Analytics: Data processing and sharp analytical mind<\/span>Mobile Development: Android\/OS<\/span>Service APIs: microservices, restful services, web services<\/span>Web Development: browsers, web development framework<\/span>Operating Systems: Linux, Solaris, Windows<\/span>Software: server, applications design, engineering and evaluations<\/span>Development methods: quality assurance, object-oriented programming, secure SW development lifecycle<\/span>You’ll join us for the Intern Marquee event in July, a unique experience designed exclusively for all US interns. Never satisfied with the status quo, you’re always trying to perform at your personal best. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where new challenges come up every day. You are flexible, dependable, and work well in varying environments. Learning quickly is personally rewarding and inspires you to take smart risks.<\/span>You’ll need to have:<\/b><\/span>Ability to participate in our hybrid 10-week internship that takes place from June 2, 2025-August 8, 2025.<\/span>Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related majors with a completion date between December 2027 and June 2029.<\/span>Attending Basking Ridge, NJ V-Teamer for a Day event on September 9th 2025<\/span>Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (ex: Python, Java).<\/span>Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.<\/span>Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.<\/span>Even better if you have one or more of the following:<\/span>Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.<\/span>Experience in Microsoft Office and\/or Google Suite.<\/span>Knowledge of mobile development (ex: IOS, Android).<\/span>Knowledge of service Application Programming Interface ( API) Integration (ex: Microservices, Restful APIs, Web services).<\/span>Knowledge of Web Development (ex: Frameworks, browsers, and embedded applications).<\/span>Understanding of QA, automation tools, and\/or Secure SW development cycle.<\/span>If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.<\/span>Benefits and Compensation<\/b><\/span>In addition to building your skills and experiences, you will be eligible to participate in our robust 401(k) Savings Plan which provides a dollar-for-dollar company match on the first 6% of your contributions as a percentage of your eligible pay. You will also be eligible for holiday pay, as applicable.<\/span>The base pay range for this position is between $23.00\/hour – $25.00\/hour. The base pay rate will vary depending on your role and class year.<\/span>Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager.
