As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD\u2019s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>THE PERSON:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for Software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about Technology. A successful candidate will need to employ strong knowledge in computer technologies, leadership skills in technical areas, and SW engineering expertise as well as a strong ability to compete effectively in a fast-paced, relevant environment while working with different teams of engineers and collaborators.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add new HDL language features to the Vivado Simulator tool<\/li>\n<li>Identify areas of performance bottleneck and come up with suggestion\/solution to improve the tool performance<\/li>\n<li>Validate new SW features before releasing them to customers<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a high-functioning development team<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the tool validation and Apps team to resolve customer issues quickly<\/li>\n<li>Help contribute to the design and implementation of future architecture for a highly scalable, durable, and innovative tool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Very Good knowledge and hands-on experience in C, C++<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of object-oriented-design principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles, Data structure, algorithms, Operating Systems concepts<\/li>\n<li>Very good understanding of any hardware language &#8211; Verilog\/VHDL\/System-Verilog<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledg of EDA Tools preferably HDL Simulation is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Results driven, Self motivated and excellent team player<\/li>\n<li>Very Good written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in ECE\/EE\/CS discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #LI-KH2<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Benefits offered are described: .<span class=\"br\"><\/span>AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
