Job Title: Senior Software Engineer<\/span>Location: Galway (Hybrid – 3 weeks remote, 1 week onsite)<\/span>Salary: \u20ac70,000 + Bonus + Pension + Additional Benefits<\/span>We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to join a leading global financial services technology team in Galway. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, secure, and scalable applications that support institutional business operations. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team building innovative capabilities for the rollout of next-generation Digital Asset financial instruments.<\/span>What We’re Looking For<\/b><\/span>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field<\/span>5+ years of experience in software application design and development<\/span>Strong object-oriented development experience – Java\/J2EE, Spring\/Spring Boot, REST services<\/span>Knowledge of Cloud, CI\/CD pipelines<\/span>Frontend experience in Angular or other TypeScript\/JavaScript frameworks is an advantage<\/span>Agile development experience<\/span>Understanding of test automation and TDD<\/span>Blockchain knowledge is a plus<\/span>Your Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Be a senior member of an Agile scrum team, collaborating with engineers, analysts, product owners, and architects<\/span>Deliver high-quality, innovative, and maintainable software solutions<\/span>Participate in architecture and application design<\/span>Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing<\/span>Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards and practices<\/span>Ensure focus on customer value, delivering solutions that enhance digital experiences<\/span>The Skills You Bring<\/b><\/span>Strong communication and collaboration skills<\/span>Passion for software craftsmanship and learning new technologies<\/span>Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/span>Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to technical challenges<\/span>What We Offer<\/b><\/span>Salary: \u20ac70,000 + performance bonus<\/span>Pension plan and comprehensive benefits package<\/span>Hybrid working model – 3 weeks from home, 1 week onsite<\/span>Professional growth and development opportunities within a global financial services leader<\/span>A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment<\/p>\n
