Job Description:<\/b><\/span>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a major infrastructure PMO in Riyadh.<\/span>What You’ll Be Doing:<\/b><\/span>Provides advice, comments on procurement policies, procedures and compliance related issues; requested changes to terms and conditions; assists project staff with negotiating Parsons Terms and Conditions with subconsultants, subcontractors, suppliers\/vendors; and recommends solutions to issues controlled by procurement and subcontract agreements.<\/span>Play an active role in conducting vendor\/subcontractor due diligence and pre-qualifications.<\/span>Attend project meetings upon request in order to facilitate project schedule and planning activities related to procurement and subcontract issues.<\/span>Preparing requests for qualification (RFQ) and request for proposal (RFP) documents and manage the solicitation, bid and award processes for projects.<\/span>Maintain and update approved vendor\/subcontractor database.<\/span>Prepare and\/or assist project team in preparing requests for qualification and request for proposal documents and manage the solicitation, bid and award processes for procurement of goods and services.<\/span>Assists various Project Managers with enforcing the terms of their Prime Contract agreements in relationship to procurement and subcontracting by applying procurement principles to provide advice, recommendations and solutions to issues controlled by the agreements.<\/span>Review Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, and Amendments to ensure compliance with Parsons procurement policies and procedures.<\/span>Reviews Subconsultant certificates of insurance for compliance to purchase orders and agreements.<\/span>Ensure approvals in accordance with Matrix of Authority for purchase orders, subcontract agreements and waivers.<\/span>Handle vendor\/subcontractor evaluation and Quality Improvement Process.<\/span>Provide procurement and subcontracting assistance to other departments and divisions.<\/span>Maintain and update leased vehicles database.<\/span>Assist Procurement Manager in establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures.<\/span>Provide training to project team on procurement policies and procedures.<\/span>Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<\/span>What Required Skills You’ll Bring:<\/span>Minimum 4 Years Experience in a similar field.<\/span>BSc. in any relevant field.<\/span>Good communication skills.<\/span>What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:<\/span>Experience in a PMO role will be a plus.<\/span>Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable\/None<\/span>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
