{"id":10307,"date":"2024-12-11T11:59:23","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T11:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/counter-sales-associate\/"},"modified":"2024-12-11T11:59:23","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T11:59:23","slug":"counter-sales-associate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/counter-sales-associate\/","title":{"rendered":"Counter Sales Associate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>ABOUT THE COMPANY<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>AZADEA Group is a premier lifestyle retail company that owns and operates more than 40 leading international franchise concepts in fashion and accessories, food and beverage, home furnishings, sporting goods, multimedia and beauty and cosmetics across the Middle East and Africa spread across 13 countries overseeing more than 700 stores.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>JOB PURPOSE<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for selling displayed food items, organizing counter operations, and ensuring all orders are prepared and served on time.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greet and serve walk-in customers, providing high-level service through product knowledge and adhering to established procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Process orders received from waiters, arrange them according to service standards, and ensure timely delivery to customers within designated serving timeframes.<\/li>\n<li>Receive daily orders, check items against order specifications, display them in the presentation fridge, and maintain regular restocking while upholding hygiene and presentation standards.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in opening and closing duties in compliance with norms and internal procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and report all records, including daily training records, taste panels, and wastage forms. Promptly report any complaints or operational issues to the manager.<\/li>\n<li>Receive and process cash payments, including exchanges and money transactions, in accordance with established policies.<\/li>\n<li>Place orders for required products through coordination with relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Receive and prepare takeaway orders, ensuring they are wrapped according to established standards, and accommodate special orders requested by customers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all operational details are clearly communicated to the team as part of maintaining a proper handover process documented in the log book.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a clean environment by implementing hygiene practices such as the &#8220;Clean as you go&#8221; policy and regularly sanitizing the counter display.<\/li>\n<li>Complete monthly inventory for all disposable items (consumables).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>LANGUAGE &#038; TECHNICAL SKILLS<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Language Proficiency<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Fluency in English.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>EDUCATION<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>High school degree.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>EXPERIENCE<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Zero to one years of experience in Customer Service, or a similar role.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Customer Focus<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions. For example, probes deeply into customer needs to identify less obvious interests or expectations. Consistently goes above and beyond to understand customer requirements and surpass their expectations.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Action Oriented<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. For example, tackles what needs to be done with enthusiasm, working quickly and without undue oversight.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Optimizes Work Processes<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. For example, generally follows defined and communicated standards, methods, and procedures. Seeks advice and finds ways to work better within processes.
