DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/span>We, at International Emerging Stores Payments (IESP) team, focus on improving customer experience, increasing access, and creating affordable payment options. As part of IESP\/Emerging Tech team, we are hiring SDEs to solve customer problems for the APAC market place. Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance.<\/span>A successful Software Development engineer (SDE2) in our team must be able to work with other junior and senior engineers, product managers and program managers to build features and solutions to business and engineering problems.<\/span>Developing scalable and extensible solution is a challenge that every SDE dreams of overcoming. \n As a Developer, you will:
\n – Help drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class experience for our developers
\n – Utilize various metrics sources to deliver rapid iterations of software features
\n – Solve difficult problems with elegant and practical code
\n – Raise the bar on quality, consistency, maintainability, efficiency, security and all the other things that make great software
\n – Be responsible for designing, developing and deploying medium to large sized projects
\n – Help define engineering best practices<\/span>Be a champion for the user: Insist on the highest standards, create functional and engaging features, and ensure their needs always come first.<\/span>About the team<\/b>
\n About IESP: International Emerging Stores Payments (a.k.a. IESP) owns the payments journey in emerging countries in both local and cross border payments for available selection and content. We support Amazon expansion by enabling relevant payment methods, and partner with in-country retail and cash networks to offer a localized payment experience for our customers. We also enable new payment methods and products, on and off Amazon, to expand access and simplify paying experiences to drive conversions. Our technology services are built for scalability and multi-tenancy with a focus on reducing development effort for new launches and ongoing operations<\/span>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/span>– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
\n – 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
\n – Experience programming with at least one software programming language<\/span>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/span>– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
