The Production Supervisor will report to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, including scheduling, monitoring workflows, conducting facility rounds, and troubleshooting issues to ensure efficient and safe production of high-quality products. Scheduling: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and manage daily production schedules with the Plant Manager to meet timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Allocate resources, including labor and equipment, to optimize workflow and achieve production targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adjust schedules as needed to address unexpected delays or changes in production priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Production Monitoring &#038; Oversight: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise production activities across shifts, ensuring adherence to standard procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct regular facility rounds to observe operations, identify bottlenecks, and ensure safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor key indicators (downtime, efficiency etc.) and taking corrective actions to address deviations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and enforce food quality standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and food safety regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Immediate Troubleshooting &#038; RCCA: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and resolve production issues in collaboration with maintenance and supply chain teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement immediate corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Document incidents and contribute to Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Team Leadership &#038; Development: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coach, mentor, and motivate production associates towards a culture of teamwork &#038; improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure staff are trained on safety protocols, equipment operation, quality standards, and hygiene practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address employee concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with Plant Manager, Quality Manager and Maintenance Manager to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Continuous Improvement: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational enhancement opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Propose innovative ideas and develop actionable execution plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Cross-Functional Collaboration: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with quality, maintenance &#038; other teams to align production goals with food &#038; personal safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate production status &#038; challenges to the Plant Manager and others during daily meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the implementation of new processes or equipment by providing frontline insights and feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead by example in promoting a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Safety &#038; Compliance: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA, USDA, SQF, GMP and company regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and report safety hazards during facility rounds, coordinating with teams to address issues promptly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote a safety-first culture by leading by example and encouraging employee participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>BASIC REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and workflow optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication, and conflict resolution skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in basic computer systems for scheduling and reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate&#8217;s degree or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, USDA, or SQF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lean Six Sigma, industry certification and\/or Industry membership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WORKING CONDITIONS &#038;
