The Applied AI System to Materials team works on architecting differentiated AI Systems leveraging Applied\u2019s fundamental innovations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write the details of role here:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Benchmark AI workloads (LLMs) in single and multi-node High Performance GPU configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Project and Analyze systems performance for LLMs using various parallelization techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Develop methodologies to measure key performance metrics and understand bottlenecks to improve efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of transformer-based model architectures and basic GEMM operations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong programming skills in Python, C\/C++.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in systems (CPU, GPU, Memory, or Network) architecture analysis and performance modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with parallel computing architectures, interconnect fabrics and AI workloads (Finetuning\/Inference).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with DL Frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow), Profiling tools (Nsight Systems, Nsight Compute, Rocprof), Containerized Environment (Docker)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> \u200b<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applied Materials is committed to diversity in its workforce including Equal Employment Opportunity for Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Additional Information<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Time Type: Full time<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Employee Type: Assignee \/ Regular<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Travel:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Relocation Eligible: No<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
