Do not just be a part of the ride, help rewrite the rules of mobility.<\/span>Experience Band : (3 to 6 years)<\/span>Job Summary:<\/b><\/span>The Algorithm Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature\/function algorithms, behaviour, trajectory planning, assessment & vehicle control algorithms.<\/span>Your Role:<\/b><\/span>Design, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using MATLAB-Simulink and\/or C++.<\/span>Collaborate with systems engineers to support the creation and break-down of requirements and test cases.<\/span>Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs.<\/span>Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality.<\/span>Proactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap.<\/span>Analyse defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by root causing the issues and designing algorithm improvements.<\/span>Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues.<\/span>Complete assigned individual and team tasks.<\/span>Follow defined software development and documentation procedures.<\/span>Your Background:<\/b><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.<\/span>Experience with State Estimation and advanced filtering methods.<\/span>3+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in: C++<\/span>Strong background in control theory & systems design<\/span>Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)<\/span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Master\u2019s degree in EEE ,Instrumentation ,ECE Engineering, Computer Science, related technical<\/span>2+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) \u2013 C++.<\/span>Superior communication & presentation skills<\/span>Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion<\/span>ISO 26262 \/ Functional Safety functional expertise<\/span>Why join us?<\/b><\/span>You can grow at Aptiv.Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.<\/span>You can have an impact.
