{"id":998,"date":"2026-02-07T04:24:51","date_gmt":"2026-02-07T04:24:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/JobsInQatar\/2026\/02\/07\/were-hiring-driver-development-specialist\/"},"modified":"2026-02-07T04:24:51","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T04:24:51","slug":"were-hiring-driver-development-specialist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/JobsInQatar\/2026\/02\/07\/were-hiring-driver-development-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Driver Development Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Responsible for developing and facilitiating driver training using a combination of classroom, driving simulation and practival driving for drivers and potential drivers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Accountabilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Operational <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as an ambassador for Group Learning and Development for forging and maintaining positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Coach and be coached by fellow colleagues and team members<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate workshop and the development of action plans.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate program logistics including venue arrangements, simulators, clinical and online theory tests<\/li>\n<li>As a team member, analyse training needs, design, develop and implement training courses in reaction to business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate training programs to a high standard, using adult learning and learner-focused techniques<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate initiatives, a &#8216;can do&#8217; attitude and a passion for learning<\/li>\n<li>Create solid professional relationships with management at all levels within the business.<\/li>\n<li>Design and develop training materials based on best practice of driver training methodology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Training<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver and facilitate training programs to all front line staff dealing with Air Side driving to a world-class standard, using adult learning and learner focused techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Simulate scenarios to facilitate the learning process.<\/li>\n<li>Run classroom sessions; facilitate the online tests as well as the clinical tests to all drivers<\/li>\n<li>Utilize coaching techniques to improve employee performance based upon an agreed action plan<\/li>\n<li>Research and recommend program improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>About You<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Qualification<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Essential<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Possess a Qatar defensive driving certificate (Preferably from NSC &#8211; National Safety Council)<\/li>\n<li>Possess valid Qatar driver&#8217;s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formal certification as a driver trainer and\/or assessor.<\/li>\n<li>Airside Vehicle Operator Permit at a major airport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Essential<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min. 5 years of experience in classroom training.<\/li>\n<li>Min. 5 years of experience in aviation particularly ground operations.<\/li>\n<li>Broad experience in driving in a restricted area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as an airline trainer.<\/li>\n<li>Airside driver training experience.<\/li>\n<li>Airside vehicle operation experience.<\/li>\n<li>Airside radio communication experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Note: you will be required to attach the following <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resume \/ CV<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Driving License<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Highest Educational Certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.qa\/jobad\/qa8d811173f49f19b75f992dbf88fa57a9?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary Responsible for developing and facilitiating driver training using a combination of classroom, driving simulation and practival driving for drivers and potential drivers.
