This position diagnoses, resolves, and documents hardware and software problems timely and accurately. Maintains the stable operation of the in-house \/ On Site computer systems which includes installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software and provide end user support where required.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Job Responsibilities 1<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist with the administration of Client end Installations.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist in network connectivity troubleshooting and firewall maintenance<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Install Complex Software for Desktop Management. This includes Asset Management, Antivirus and Spam filtering software, Desktop Maintenance.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Configure and install personal computer software packages, software upgrades, PC Support, Operating System upgrades and maintenance.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Identify and correct operational problems on employee computers systems.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Update tickets using Service Desk application based on the SLA and SOP.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist in monitoring that daily backup systems and disaster contingencies are in place in the event of such faults to minimize disruption.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Continually conduct research and investigates new or improved ways of working to ensure the ICT system is operating at its most effective and efficient<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist user in diagnosing, resolving, and documenting hardware and software problems timely and accurately.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Achieve internal SLA&#8217;s for support<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Perform system backups and recovery on timely basis.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Perform on-site analyze, diagnosis, and resolution of complex computer problems for a variety of end users and recommend and implement corrective hardware and software solutions, including off-site repairs<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist with Server installations and setups as well as resolution of server end problems.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist user in diagnosing and resolving issue related to hard ware and software and other related IT concerns such as configuration and installation of server.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Monitor proactively and respond to ICT helpdesk tickets.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Provide day to day management of access to the ICT systems and services<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Job Responsibilities 2<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Additional Responsibilities 3<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Knowledge &#038; Skills<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Knowledge of helpdesk system administration<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot hardware and software<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Knowledge of Hardware \/software configuration, maintenance, procedure etc.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Knowledge of computer applications and software processing.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Experience<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Competencies<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Resilience<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Quality<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Leadership<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Service Level Agreements L2<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applications Systems Architecture L2<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applications Development Standards and Procedures L2<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applications Database Knowledge L2<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Agility<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applications Operational Knowledge L2<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Education<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Profesional degree in CISCO<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.qa\/jobad\/qa5699699db0c15edd9bab68da241e9518?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary The Senior IT Support Officer provides an efficient and effective ICT Technical Support Service.
