This role requires a strong analytical mindset, accuracy in financial data handling, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>General Accounting <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger (GL) records<\/li>\n<li>Process and review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments<\/li>\n<li>Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Financial Reporting <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly financial statements (P&#038;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)<\/li>\n<li>Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decisions<\/li>\n<li>Monitor financial performance against targets and identify variances<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audit requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Budgeting &#038; Forecasting <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts<\/li>\n<li>Track and monitor actual expenses versus budget allocations<\/li>\n<li>Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with department heads for budget planning and updates<\/li>\n<li>Support rolling forecasts and financial planning processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Compliance &#038; Controls <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain proper internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial records<\/li>\n<li>Support implementation of process improvements within the finance function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.qa\/jobad\/qaedfaba8f321f65abb37ca6a7ff197743?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant with strong experience in general accounting and budgeting to join our team in Doha.
