The Physician &#8211; Hospital Medicine makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient&#8217;s diagnosed condition.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assesses and reassesses inpatients and\/or outpatients on a regular basis, in line with established best practice.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participates in interdisciplinary meetings to help plan effective, safe, and holistic care for individual patients.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care and services within specialty area.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts Ward rounds, reassesses inpatients and\/or outpatients on a regular basis, in line with established best practice.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly reviews results of all investigations and modifies treatment as required.<\/li>\n<li>Provides clinical excellence by effective and efficient diagnoses, manages, and treats all patients placed under post holder&#8217;s care.<\/li>\n<li>Delivers safe, effective, and holistic clinical services within accepted standards of care.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately documents all relevant clinical information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with established procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Supports, implements, and follows all hospital, departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with colleagues, Allied Health staff, nursing, administrative and support services staff for additional input as required.<\/li>\n<li>Practices appropriate utilization of the organization&#8217;s resources.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates an active interest in educating and fostering future academic leaders nationally and internationally through active participation in education initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates an active interest and involvement in research by initiating innovative clinical or research outcomes or collaborating on research projects to support the Sidra vision.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates commitment to Continued Medical Education (CME).<\/li>\n<li>Keeps abreast of the current, relevant literature and the latest trends and technologies in the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other clinical responsibilities as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to Sidra&#8217;s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to and promotes Sidra&#8217;s Values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>QUALIFICATIONS &#038; EXPERIENCE<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Education<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MD, MBBS or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Completion of board certification in Pediatrics<\/li>\n<li>Completion of a Fellowship in General Pediatrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>1+ years post-board certification experience<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>About Us:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Sidra Medicine a healthy population is essential to a strong, prosperous society, and throughout 2020, Sidra continued to provide uninterrupted comprehensive specialist healthcare services for children and young people; and exceptional maternity, gynecology, and reproductive medical services for women, previously unavailable in Qatar and the region.\u201d &#8211; H.H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Sidra Medicine represents the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser who serves as its Chairperson.
