You will be responsible for ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures, nursing standards, evidence-based practice in line with the department Health Professionals (DHP) nursing regulations and scope of practice for registered nurses within the State of Qatar Also, responsible for the delivery of professional quality and safe patient care to the patients and their families across QR Medical facilities in various specialty areas.<\/span>Key responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Provide skilled, safe, holistic direct nursing care for patients and their families across several facilities in a range of specialty settings such as aeromedical, primary care, occupational health and employee health nursing ensuring that care delivered meets professional standards and evidence-based practice.<\/span>Function at all times, in accordance with the legislative, regulatory and policy guidelines relevant to registered nursing practice and scope of practice for the State of Qatar.<\/span>Support day to day running of the facility ensuring a high standard of direct nursing care to the patients.<\/span>Maintain and demonstrate clinical competence in all aspects care provided to QR patients across the various specialties.<\/span>Develop, implement, evaluate and document patient’s plan of care, providing key inputs into delivery of care.<\/span>Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, in a safe, timely and effective manner in accordance with QR pharmacy and MOPH guidelines for the safe administration of medication.<\/span>Communicate with patients and families ensuring patients and families are fully informed and that informed consent is obtained for any treatments in line with international standards and the QR consent policy.<\/span>Attend to emergency\/crisis situations calmly and effectively.<\/span>Accept accountability for own actions and decision-making for the related outcome.<\/span>Maintain and promote customer satisfaction through effective customer service.<\/span>Support senior nurse to ensure patient flow, access and timeliness to appointments are achieved.<\/span>Responsible for and knowledgeable about the safe use of all clinical and non-clinical equipment used within the area ensuring this is checked and maintained and where there are issues this is resolved so that equipment is fit for purpose.<\/span>Perform other department duties related to his\/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.<\/span>Be part of an extraordinary story<\/span>Your skills. Join us as we dare to achieve what’s never been done before.<\/span>Together, everything is possible<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>About you<\/b><\/span>High School Qualification\/Vocational Qualification\/Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 year of job-related experience. OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 year of job-related experience.<\/span>Advanced Diploma in Nursing and\/or Midwifery (minimum 3\/4 years duration) Or Bachelor of Science (or similar) in General Nursing\/Midwifery\/Mental Health\/ Paediatric Nursing<\/span>Valid Nursing license in country of origin and eligibility for license with the DHP in the State of Qatar<\/span>Minimum of 3+ Years’ of post nursing registration clinical experience in a clinically relevant specialty<\/span>Command of English language<\/span>Knowledge of legislative, regulatory & policy guidance relevant to the nursing and midwifery practice<\/span>Preferred<\/b><\/span>Post Graduate\/Diploma Qualification in an appropriate nursing related subject i.e., leadership, management, advanced nursing practice in appropriate nursing area\/specialty<\/span>Certification of nursing specialty (aviation\/flight nursing, primary care, emergency care, occupational health, health improvement and wellbeing, clinical governance\/infection control)<\/span>Certification in basic life support (BSL),(intermediate life support) ILS, Advanced life support (ALS)<\/span>Experience and\/or knowledge of working within Aeromedical\/Flight Escort Nursing, Primary Care, Occupational Health Nursing or Emergency care nursing<\/span>About Qatar Airways Group<\/span>Our story started with four aircraft.
