{"id":2097,"date":"2026-02-24T14:43:52","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T14:43:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/JobsInQatar\/2026\/02\/24\/were-hiring-onshore-work-preparator-construction-coordinator\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T14:43:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T14:43:52","slug":"were-hiring-onshore-work-preparator-construction-coordinator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/JobsInQatar\/2026\/02\/24\/were-hiring-onshore-work-preparator-construction-coordinator\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Onshore Work Preparator \/ Construction Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar for a<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Onshore Work Preparator \/ Construction Coordinator<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your main duties will be to: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall responsible for the coordination of the project execution:<\/li>\n<li>Ensure detailed coordination of execution phases for the project: preparation, execution, and post works.<\/li>\n<li>First line of contact with offshore for the project, day to day interface and resolution of operational needs in all phases<\/li>\n<li>Create\/Release work orders required to supply materials during Execution phase.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure close monitoring with logistics and shipment so no downtime is experienced offshore with regards to materials\/equipment delivery<\/li>\n<li>Update of Revision code and planner group in work orders as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with all entities for a timely update and closure of SAP work orders.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain with offshore the weekly update on temporary equipment status\/register as per NOC Management of Temporary Equipment procedure: enhance safety, minimize process equipment downtime and operational costs.<\/li>\n<li>Collate weekly data from S-Curve(Progress) and NPT Tracker and review\/follow up on inefficiencies as required before delivering at weekly meeting<\/li>\n<li>Review NPT Trends on a weekly basis to identify sticking points and review potential solutions to alleviate any issues moving forward.<\/li>\n<li>Review weekly Dashboard figures for Backlog Hours and compare to previous weeks for discussion at weekly meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the readiness of the JUB(s) with IT Equipment and network access through liaising with IT\/Network teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Profile<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Education: A-levels + 3 years study in discipline<br \/>\n       Professional experience: 10 years&#8217; experience in the field of production on oil and gas production installations<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Offshore Construction Coordinator and Work Preparator with extensive experience in offshore and onshore oil &#038;<br \/>\n       gas projects, specialized in piping and structural works. Strong expertise in work progress follow-up, quality control<br \/>\n       coordination, isometric drawings reading and P&#038;ID review, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient execution of<br \/>\n       construction activities. Experienced in brownfield and revamping projects, working in close interface with<br \/>\n       Construction, QC, HSE and Client teams under strict HSE standards.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of SAP<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office<span class=\"br\"><\/span>SPIE Global Services Energy is committed to promote diversity.
