The role ensures reliable operation of protection schemes, compliance with standards, and safe execution of site works.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review of contractors&#8217; design drawings and Design approval.<\/li>\n<li>Will be responsible for review of inspection &#038; testing procedure, FAT\/SAT formats, method statements.<\/li>\n<li>Verify relay setting calculations for existing and new protection devices.<\/li>\n<li>Verify adequacy checks for current and voltage transformer calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Witnessing the testing and commissioning of all protection equipment and ensuring the protection and control philosophy is correctly implemented at site as per client specification.<\/li>\n<li>Being well versed with the protection devices of major OEMS -Siemens, GE(Alstom) and ABB, frequently assists the client for implementation of important protection like Cable Differential\/Distance, Transformer Differential &#038; REF, Bus bar Differential (Low Impedance and High Impedance) and Reactor Differential.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all protection and control signals are configured to substation SCADA(IEC61850) and Nation Control Centre (IEC104).<\/li>\n<li>Witnessing the testing of Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) schemes for Transformer and Reactor.<\/li>\n<li>Verify protection and control schematics based on protection requirement.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting of the faults in the substations related to protection and control and providing corrective actions to client.<\/li>\n<li>Review of method statements submitted by the contractor to ensure safe and reliable protection stability testing of the Cable, Transformer, Reactor and Busbar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Electrical \/ Power Engineering (or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 6 years of experience in protection and control engineering (substations \/ transmission &#038; distribution \/ power plants).<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with protection relays (Siemens, ABB, GE, Schneider, SEL, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of relay coordination, fault analysis, and power system protection schemes (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with testing tools (Omicron, Doble, Megger, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and local utility standards.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and site management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.\u200b \u200b<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
