In this role, you will lead business development activities across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on the Middle East. You will drive specification, project pipeline growth, and major project acquisition to strengthen Hempel\u2019s position in targeted markets.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Technical, Product Management, and Key Account teams to ensure our H\u2011PFP solutions are competitively positioned and consistently specified by NOCs, EPCs, contractors, and applicators.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Here\u2019s some of the other things you can look forward to:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Drive specification and approvals with key technical influencers<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ensure H\u2011PFP systems are included in customer approval frameworks<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Manage and grow the project pipeline, ensuring strong conversion through sales engagement<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Collaborate with regional and global sales teams to secure priority projects<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Align with the Center of Excellence (Barcelona) and Sharjah factory on testing, production, and supply<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Lead regional go\u2011to\u2011market plans, trials, and demonstrations<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ensure all engagements and pipeline activities are accurately managed in CRM<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Track KPIs to measure Business Development impact and ensure achievement of annual revenue targets<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Promote value\u2011based selling and consistent pipeline management practices<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Support commercial excellence initiatives to increase visibility, early engagement, and win rates<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Align with Global Key Account Management (GKAM) on major projects and shared accounts<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Collaborate cross\u2011functionally to execute segment strategies for Energy and Infrastructure<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Contribute to product launches, customer trials, and specification of new innovations<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Support product management to optimize range complexity where needed<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ensure compliance with Hempel policies and operational KPIs.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This role will report into the Head of Business Development, Energy EMEA and will be based out of Qatar or within the GCC Region.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Furthermore, we expect that you have<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strong commercial mindset with proven BD experience in coatings, H\u2011PFP, or related technical industries<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ability to build strong relationships and influence technical and commercial stakeholders<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to prioritize high\u2011value opportunities<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Self\u2011driven and comfortable working independently\/remotely<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ability to travel within the Middle East and wider EMEA<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Experience with Thermal Insulation Coatings is an advantage<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Relevant education is valued; however, experience, drive, and behavior are the key selection criteria<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Fluency in English required; additional regional languages are an advantage<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Application and further information<span class=\"br\"><\/span>To apply for this position, please submit your application letter with a CV in English via the link no later than the 8-Mar-2026.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Please note that the interviews will take place 1-2 weeks after the application deadline and you may want to pencil this time in your diary to avoid any holiday clashes.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Join Hempel<br \/>\n       At Hempel, you\u2019re welcomed into a global community of +7000 colleagues around the world.
