{"id":1351,"date":"2026-02-12T10:19:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T10:19:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/JobsInQatar\/2026\/02\/12\/were-hiring-crane-operator-m-f-5\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T10:19:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T10:19:18","slug":"were-hiring-crane-operator-m-f-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/JobsInQatar\/2026\/02\/12\/were-hiring-crane-operator-m-f-5\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Crane Operator M\/F"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha, Qatar for a :<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Crane Operator<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Purpose:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To safely operate and maintain various crane types within safe working load (SWL) and limits.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all Crane lifting, Vessel, Deck and Helicopter operations safely in accordance with<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> procedures. * Acting as a member of the Offshore Emergency Response Team in the event of an incident to ensure<span class=\"br\"><\/span>minimal harm to personnel, environment and asset * Contributing to the development and review of risk assessments to ensure that hazards have been<span class=\"br\"><\/span>identified, adequate mitigations are in place and risk has been reduced.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your main duties will be to:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Act as a Permit Performing Authority to ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with the<br \/>\n       Permit to Work process and company requirements.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Safely operate and maintain various crane types within safe working load (SWL) and limits.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Conduct daily routine and safety checks on cranes and operational equipment, maintain records on the<br \/>\n       same.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Work at height within operational limits of the crane.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Complete preventive maintenance work.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Optimise the safe offloading and loading of cargo to and from supply vessels.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Overseeing the safe Transfer of personnel to and from shuttle vessels.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Provide visible leadership to personnel to ensure safety targets are met.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Promote NOC core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect and commitment,<br \/>\n       fostering collaboration across the organization.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Promote cost consciousness in order to embed a strong cost culture.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Actively participates in and promotes company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures,<br \/>\n       that ensures personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Ensure compliance with Operating Procedures and Guidelines to ensure Process Safety, Operational<br \/>\n       Safety and Plant Integrity.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).<br \/>\n       &#8211; Driver certificate (A certificate) issued by a recognized educational institute.<br \/>\n       &#8211; Experience with seatrax pedestal cranes, Liebherr and hydro lift or similar.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil &#038; gas processing or petrochemical plants.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Profile<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>&#8211;
