Job Summary<\/b><\/span>The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible to keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the premises. The role ensures that all maintenance work orders from all departments are completed on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures and continually work towards and support the improvement of maintenance services at all times.<\/span>Job Responsibilities 1<\/span>Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC system maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of hotel facilities.<\/span>Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, addressing issues such as leaky faucets, malfunctioning appliances, and broken fixtures.<\/span>Conduct inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.<\/span>Repair or replace faulty equipment, furniture, and fixtures in guest rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, and other hotel areas.<\/span>Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance storage areas, equipment rooms, and workspaces.<\/span>Follow safety procedures and regulations when working with tools, equipment, and chemicals to prevent accidents and injuries.<\/span>Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections, accurately and promptly.<\/span>Coordinate with other hotel departments and contractors to schedule maintenance work and minimize disruptions to guests.<\/span>Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on maintenance techniques and technologies.<\/span>Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing maintenance issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.<\/span>Job Responsibilities 2<\/span>Additional Responsibilities 3<\/span>Job Knowledge & Skills<\/b><\/span>Capability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently, finding effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities.<\/span>Ability to identify and address maintenance needs accurately, ensuring that repairs are completed to high standards and that safety hazards are mitigated.<\/span>Effective communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and contractors, conveying information clearly and professionally.<\/span>Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple maintenance tasks simultaneously, maintaining flexibility to respond to emergent situations promptly.<\/span>ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role<\/span>Job Experience<\/b><\/span>Minimum 3 year(s) working experience, 2 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus<\/span>Competencies<\/b><\/span>Resilience<\/span>Quality<\/b><\/span>Leadership<\/b><\/span>Inspection And Maintenance Procedures L1<\/span>Preventive Maintenance Procedures L1<\/span>Safety Management L1<\/span>Agility<\/span>Equipment Maintenance L1<\/span>Routine Maintenance L1<\/span>Education<\/b><\/span>Certificate in Electrical Certificates or equivalent<\/p>\n
