- Perform welding and repair tasks on aircraft components in line with approved technical data and QR procedures
- Complete assigned work within defined timelines while meeting productivity and quality standards
- Operate welding equipment and related tooling safely to achieve task objectives
- Interpret maintenance data and instructions to maintain continuous and compliant operations
- Ensure component rectifications meet QCAA and EASA Part-145 requirements
- Work independently under normal conditions with minimal supervision
- Comply fully with company health, safety, and quality policies
- Lead by example to promote safety awareness and best workshop practices
- Communicate health and safety issues to team members as required
- Perform additional workshop duties as directed by department leadership
Ideal Profile
- High school, vocational qualification, or diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Degree, diploma, or license in aircraft maintenance
- Minimum 5 years of certifying experience in a relevant technical field
- Basic ICAO Type II license
- Recognized aeronautical or technical training certificates
- At least one year of practical experience in a similar aircraft workshop environment
- Strong TIG welding skills on aluminum, titanium, nickel, and steel alloys for aircraft components
- Experience with resistance spot welding on aircraft parts
- Ability to follow manufacturing instructions and maintenance data accurately
- Strong safety awareness and technical competency in aircraft MRO environments
