Job Description:Primary Purpose of the JobResponsible, accountable and provide oversight of day-to-day construction/executionof civil activities of department assigned field Projects to ensure they are constructedin accordance with approved Scope of Work, approved drawings, engineering designand safety, environment and QatarEnergy standards & specifications.Oversee and provide guidance/advice to contractor on all civil construction activitiesto ensure that they are performed as per approved method statements complying withproject schedule, quality and material requirements.
Required Experience and Skills1. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years overall experience in supervisingoffshore projects civil construction of oil and gas projects.2. Computer literate. Good communication and writing skills.3. Excellent command of English Language (oral and written)4. Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safetyand environmental awareness.5. Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and testplans, construction schedules and drawings.6. Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.7. Ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
Educational Qualifications1. B.Sc. in Civil Engineering discipline from a recognized University or HigherNational Diploma (HND) (or) Diploma in Civil Engineering discipline or equivalentplus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.
